Labeo rohita, rohu fishes (150 ± 25 g) were reared in laborato ry conditions, and were fed with the artificial diet. After 4 weeks of acclimatization, fishes were immunized intraperitoneally with a protein antigen, bovine serum albumin (BSA). Fish were sampled on days- 7, 14, 21 and 28 after BSA administration. The samples were diagnosed by ELISA and immuno - electron microscopy for the presence of specific - antibody and Antigen, respectively.
